Marden Woods is a 25.4 acre area managed by the Rye Conservation Commission for conservation and recreation purposes. The area is located on 309 Washington Road.

A formal trail marked with orange diamonds has been established in Marden Woods. Most of the trail was established using an old woods trail allowing an easy to follow and wide path. The trail begins at the opening of the stone wall on Washington Road and loops to the left or right coming back to the looping point. The trail utilizes a small portion of the Conservation parcel because the parcel is cut by one third by wetlands that cut through the property but this allows for a wildlife corridor on the other undisturbed two thirds.

Non-motorized activities including hiking, running, biking, skiing and snowshoeing allow for year-round enjoyment on established trails.

Hunting in season within the Marden Woods is permitted unless otherwise posted. All visitors should wear day-glow orange for safety during hunting seasons.
